We've always had trouble drawing a line between home furnishings, artisan craft, folk art, and fine art. Fortunately, we don't care. O! Brasil isn't in the art business. We're in the beauty business.

Our artists range from the simplest, beautifulest peasants who have never been instructed in aesthetics to some sophisticated professionals who have traveled the world to perfect their art.

O! Brasil ceramics are among the most special products we have. They range from the sophisticated vases of Magno Barroso to the simple traditional human figures shaped by the hands of Zezinha.

Photography cannot capture the true beauty of these ceramics. If you don't have an opportunity to visit our store and see them in peson, you;ll just have to trust that we would not go to all the trouble of bringing these pieces out of Brazil unless they were worth the effort.

Since the art at O! Brasil is, of course, one-of-a-kind, you may not see it on this website or in our store for long. Infact, it's possible that what you see here has already found a new home. But new products are always coming along, so keep checking us.
